1. Bike Through the Stunning Sage Hills

About 10 miles further East from Cashmere, surrounding the City of Wenatchee, are the dynamic Sage Hills. The hillsides provide incredible views of the Columbia River valley and offer over fifty miles of well-maintained trails. While the trails are great for day hikes and even horseback riding, they also provide some of the best mountain biking courses in the area. The Rocky Reach Discovery Center is fun for all ages and a great place to learn about the history of the Columbia River and hydropower! Rocky Reach Discover Center is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m and admission is free of charge.

While the Wenatchee area features some of the best outdoor recreation in the state, there are also excellent indoor options to pack your day with. At the Riverfront Rock Gym, you’ll find over 14,000 square feet of indoor climbing surface area.
